Who and what are covered
This U.S. warranty covers new Easy Diesel branded serpentine belts, SKUs ED-F73-1223, ED-F60-1265, ED-F67-1346 and ED-F67-1352, purchased by the original end-user purchaser in the 50 United States or District of Columbia.
Coverage begins with that purchaser’s purchase and lasts for as long as that purchaser continuously owns the same identified truck for which the belt was purchased. Coverage does not transfer to another purchaser or vehicle. Buying inventory for resale does not start coverage; the qualifying end-user purchase does. Individuals and businesses qualify, including fleets. Normal road driving, towing and work use within the truck manufacturer’s rated limits are covered.
Coverage and remedy
We cover defects in materials or workmanship and normal wear requiring belt replacement. You may claim for wear identified during inspection; you do not need to wait for the belt to break. There is no mileage limit or limit on qualifying replacements. Replacement depends on a covered condition, with no automatic annual replacement entitlement.
We provide a new replacement belt of the same model or equivalent fit and function at no charge. Replacement belts retain this same lifetime coverage. If neither replacement is available within 30 days after we receive the reasonably necessary claim information and any requested return, we refund the original price paid for that belt plus applicable sales tax. A refund ends this written warranty for that belt.
We pay standard replacement shipping and provide prepaid shipping for any return we require within the 50 states and District of Columbia. No claim, handling or restocking fees apply. International shipping and duties are not included.
How to claim
- Contact Warranty Support with your order number or other reasonable proof of purchase, truck year/model/engine, confirmation of continued ownership, installation and current mileage if known, a description of the condition, and clear photos when safely obtainable. We can help locate your order and accept reasonable alternative evidence. Registration is not required.
- Keep the belt if safely possible. Obtain return authorization before mailing it. If inspection requires a return, we provide instructions and a prepaid label. We may request reasonably necessary vehicle identification or additional evidence to verify coverage.
- We review claims promptly, explain any missing information or denial, and provide an approved replacement or refund within 30 days after receiving the reasonably necessary information and any requested return.
Exclusions and your rights
We exclude only damage caused by incorrect fitment or installation, faulty pulleys/tensioners or other belt-drive components, improper tension, misuse, racing, overloading, damaging modifications, collision, fire, or external chemical/oil contamination. Independent installation, service, or use of other brands does not itself void coverage. Follow appropriate inspection and maintenance guidance; stop using an unsafe belt.
This parts-only warranty does not pay removal, installation or diagnostic labor. To the extent permitted by law, replacement or refund is the exclusive remedy under this written warranty, and incidental or consequential damages, including towing, downtime, lost income and damage to other components, are excluded. This exclusion does not apply to personal injury or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
This warranty does not disclaim implied warranties or limit rights that cannot lawfully be limited. Later policy changes do not reduce coverage for an existing qualifying purchase.
This warranty controls over conflicting general store terms concerning its coverage or remedies. Your nonwaivable statutory rights are preserved.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.
